Start with your travel document, not a general blog answer
Entry requirements for Türkiye vary by nationality, passport type, residence status and purpose of travel. A rule that applies to one traveller may not apply to another person in the same group. Requirements can also change. For that reason, this guide does not declare who needs a visa. Begin with the official government portal and, when necessary, the Turkish embassy or consulate responsible for your place of residence.
Use the official e-Visa address
The official portal is evisa.gov.tr, operated by Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The portal asks for the country or region of the travel document and the document type before showing eligibility and conditions. Similar-looking commercial websites may charge service fees and are not the government portal. Check the domain carefully before entering passport or payment information.
An e-Visa is not available for every traveller
Some nationalities may enter visa-free for qualifying visits, some may be eligible for an e-Visa subject to conditions, and others may need a consular visa. The result must come from the official process for the exact passport used to travel. Do not assume that residence in another country changes the passport-based rule unless the official eligibility screen explicitly says so.
Match every field to the passport
Names, passport number, nationality, document type and validity dates should match the travel document exactly. The official portal warns that processed e-Visa information cannot simply be changed and that mismatched information can invalidate the document. Review spelling and number sequences before payment. Each traveller, including children, should be checked individually under current official rules.
Check passport validity and stay limits separately
Visa validity, permitted duration of stay and passport validity are different concepts. The official portal explains that travel documents generally need validity beyond the allowed stay, with additional requirements possible by nationality. Do not calculate this from memory. Read the result shown for your document and confirm with official authorities if anything is unclear.
Keep evidence available while travelling
Save confirmations in more than one place and carry the accommodation address, onward or return travel details and insurance information when relevant. Border authorities make entry decisions, and possession of a visa does not replace other entry conditions. If a travel detail changes after an application, consult the official portal or support channel rather than editing a document yourself.
What a tour company can and cannot do
A tour company can provide itinerary, accommodation and service confirmations for booked arrangements. It cannot guarantee entry, override official requirements or decide visa eligibility. Türkiye Tour therefore directs travellers to government sources and does not present general website text as immigration advice. Verify requirements again shortly before departure, especially if the trip was booked well in advance.
